Our Horses
Here’s what you came for, the horses. Our horses are handled daily and are therefore very gentle. Most newborns are handled by us while they are still wet. All of our mares are very gentle, so this is no problem. The youngsters are introduced to a halter and have their legs lifted before they are a week old. They are halter trained well and trained to load before they are two months old.
Here you will find copies of the AQHA registration papers for each horse, an extended pedigree for each horse, and several pictures of each horse. These are not all “glamour” shots. We try to have candid pictures of different stages of their lives so you will find some pictures of older horses when they were foals or 2 year-olds.
We let our horses be horses, rain or shine, hot or cold, calm or blowing snow, with few exceptions these horses are outside day and night. We don’t abuse them, but horses are tough animals meant to live outside so you will find some pictures of them with heavy winter coats. You will also find some pictures that show their personalities or pictures that we just like for one reason or another. The links will interconnect you to foals, mares, stallions, those for sale, etc. We will try to post current pictures of new babies regularly so you can watch them grow.
